Scholarships for Colorado Accounting Students

Founded in 1958, the Educational Foundation of the COCPA provides scholarships to students in Colorado who are on the path to a CPA career. Scholarships are awarded in August for the fall term and may be applied to tuition, textbooks, fees, and on-campus room and board.

Applicants must be pursuing a degree with accounting emphasis from an eligible, 4-year Colorado college or university.

 

Apply between March 1 and June 30, 2023 to be considered for a scholarship for the Merit Scholarship Application.

 

Apply between January 17 and March 31, 2023 to be considered for a scholarship for the Community College Accounting Scholarship.

KPMG

Applications are now being accepted for the KPMG Future Leaders Program – Class of 2023.
The KPMG Future Leaders Program annually awards 22 deserving high school female seniors:

 

  1. A scholarship of $10,000 per year for 4 years of college
  2. A leadership development retreat and ongoing KPMG support
  3. A pairing with an executive woman mentor for one-year

 

We are committed to reaching as many qualified young women as possible, and we cannot do so without your help! Please share this application link with your qualifying female students and encourage them to apply for this wonderful opportunity.

 

Applications must be submitted by February 1, 2023. An independent selection committee will select and notify the 22 recipients by April 14, 2023.

AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop

The AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop (ASLW) is an all-expenses-paid annual invitational program for minority accounting students. This event aims to strengthen students’ professional skills and understanding of the limitless possibilities and benefits of earning the CPA credential.

 

Attendees will participate in learning sessions and panel discussions covering a wide array of topics such as developing leadership skills and passing the CPA exam. Students will have the opportunity to interact with accomplished CPA professionals who will share priceless knowledge regarding career opportunities in accounting and the value of networking. AICPA Foundation covers the cost of student attendees’ transportation to/from the workshop location, hotel accommodations, training experience, and meals. Learn more about the AICPA Foundation.
